Bitcoin Whales Shift to Withdrawals Near $86,000 Amid Strong Support and Elevated Profit-Taking

Bitcoin traded near $86,000 as large holders shifted from depositing tokens on exchanges to withdrawing them into custody. Since October 1, whales have accumulated 14,335 BTC valued at approximately $1.22 billion, helping establish a critical support zone between $83,300 and $84,600 where 1.59 million BTC traded. Meanwhile, elevated profit-taking persisted, with 73.6% of circulating supply in profit for the week ending October 4 and the realized profit-to-loss ratio reaching 1.3. Concurrently, institutional demand cooled as weekly net flows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs declined 87.7% to $208.1 million.
