Bitcoin Whales Clash as $903 Million Accumulation Counters $200 Million Exchange Inflows

Bitcoin is seeing conflicting whale activity as large buyers absorb sudden sell-side pressure ahead of key macroeconomic events. Over a 24-hour period, two whales moved $200 million in Bitcoin onto exchanges, while Hyperliquid whales turned net short for the first time since March. However, massive spot accumulation countered the inflows, led by a dormant whale pulling 11,326 to 11,330 BTC—valued around $903 million—from Binance. Along with 136.894 BTC in Japanese exchange withdrawals, Santiment recorded 14,942 BTC leaving exchanges, marking the largest daily outflow in five weeks amid $12 billion in looming options expirations.
