Bitcoin Whale Addresses Expand as Mid-Tier Cohorts Accumulate Nearly 89,000 BTC

Large Bitcoin holders expanded their positions over the past month, with wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 BTC absorbing 88,987 BTC to lift collective balances to a six-month high above 13.69 million BTC. The accumulation coincided with Bitcoin dipping below $81,400. Latest on-chain data shows wallets holding 100 to 1,000 BTC increased by 197 to 18,381, gaining 34,216 BTC, while the 1,000 to 10,000 BTC tier added 45 addresses to reach 1,944, gaining 51,371 BTC. Conversely, addresses holding over 10,000 BTC fell by two to 87, with holdings dropping by 66,929 BTC.
