Bitcoin Trades Near $85,500 After Resistance Rejection Despite Corporate Treasury Accumulation
Bitcoin traded near $85,500 after retreating from resistance between $86,000 and $87,000, despite ongoing corporate accumulation. Between September 28 and October 4, public firms acquired 3,342 BTC worth roughly $286.31 million, raising tracked public corporate treasuries to 922,971 BTC valued at $79.07 billion. Strive bought 2,000 BTC for about $169 million, Metaplanet added 1,000 BTC, and Strategy acquired 334 BTC for $28.7 million to reach 848,000 BTC while reporting an estimated $20.91 billion Q3 gain. Bitcoin previously fell below $85,000 on October 5 as buying pressure failed to counteract broader headwinds.
