Bitcoin Tops $67,000 as US-Iran Peace Deal Fuels Risk-On Rally
Bitcoin has surged above $67,000 by June 16, recovering sharply from sub-$60,000 lows earlier in the week. The rebound followed President Trump’s announcement of a completed U.S.-Iran peace deal that reopened the Strait of Hormuz, eased oil prices, and triggered broad risk-on flows. Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $85.9 million in net inflows on June 13 after weeks of outflows, while Strategy added 1,587 BTC. The rally also coincided with a record 10% drop in mining difficulty and short-covering that ended a four-week losing streak.
