Bitcoin Rebounds to $63K on Ceasefire After Fed Hawkish Reversal

Bitcoin recovered toward $63,000 on June 19 after dipping to an intraday low of $62,263, supported by the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire that bolstered the U.S.-Iran peace process. The token had earlier surged above $66,000 following the signing of the U.S.-Iran MoU and 60-day negotiation window, which eased oil prices and geopolitical risk around the Strait of Hormuz. However, the Federal Reserve’s decision to hold rates at 3.50%-3.75% with nine of 18 participants now projecting at least one hike in 2026 triggered a sharp reversal, pushing BTC more than 4% below its weekly peak as the dollar index hit a one-year high.
