Bitcoin's market capitalization reached approximately $1.635 trillion after the cryptocurrency gained 4% to trade near $81,419. This upward momentum propelled Bitcoin to the 13th position among the world's largest global assets, officially surpassing electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla in overall market value. Tesla's market capitalization slipped to $1.438 trillion as its shares fell 0.5% to $364.27, opening up a substantial valuation gap of nearly $197 billion between the two assets. The article also detailed corporate digital asset holdings, highlighting that Tesla maintained 11,509 BTC with a market value of roughly $937 million at current prices. Combined with SpaceX's reported 18,712 BTC, corporate holdings across Elon Musk-led enterprises reached 30,221 BTC, worth around $2.46 billion. Analysts emphasized that while market capitalization rankings illustrate relative scale and expanding institutional footprint for digital assets, continuous crypto trading dynamics differ fundamentally from equity valuations tied to operational cash flows and earnings.
