Bitcoin Drops to $81,416 as ETF Outflows Offset Major Exchange Withdrawals

Bitcoin traded down to $81,416, falling 3.9% over seven days despite tightening exchange reserves and large-scale accumulation. Centralized exchanges recorded a single-day net outflow of 24,073 BTC—the largest daily reduction since March 1—dropping exchange reserves to roughly 6.50% of total circulating supply. Whale and shark wallets holding 10 to 10,000 BTC absorbed 86,702 BTC over three weeks. However, prices retreated from earlier highs near $86,000 to $87,000 as spot Bitcoin ETFs registered $487 million in net daily outflows on October 7, led by $208 million in withdrawals from BlackRock.
