Bitcoin Difficulty Falls 10% in 11th-Largest Drop, McAvity Flags Ideal Entry
Bitcoin mining difficulty fell 10.09% to 124.93 trillion at block 953568 on June 14, the 11th-largest downward adjustment in network history. The drop followed an anticipated 10.3% reduction on June 12 and a 9.55% cut on June 13 after hashrate collapsed from above 1,000 EH/s to around 893 EH/s amid miner margin pressure from Bitcoin's early-June slide near $60,000. Hashprice has since recovered above $30 per PH/s, offering short-term relief, while Cormint CEO James McAvity called the conditions the most attractive entry point for Bitcoin mining investment in five years.
