Bitcoin Difficulty Drops 10.09% to 124.93T in 11th-Largest Adjustment
Bitcoin's mining difficulty has now fallen 10.09% to 124.93T at block 953568, the 11th-largest drop on record. The adjustment followed a 15% June price decline that pushed BTC below $60,000 and cut network hashrate from 1 ZH/s to 886 EH/s, stretching the prior epoch to 15.6 days. Daily miner revenue remains below $25 million with fees at 2019 lows, prompting public miners to sell a record 32,000 BTC in Q1 while shifting capacity to over $70 billion in AI contracts. Hashprice has since rebounded above $33 per PH/s, offering relief to surviving operators ahead of the next retarget on June 27.
