Binance users add 7,715 BTC as ETH and USDT balances fall

Binance’s latest proof-of-reserves report shows customer Bitcoin balances rose in June, while Ethereum and USDT balances declined. BTC holdings increased 1.22% to about 640,000 BTC, adding 7,715 BTC, suggesting continued customer demand or inflows toward Bitcoin. In contrast, ETH fell 1.41% to about 4.08 million ETH, and USDT dropped 1.51% to roughly 33.7 billion USDT. The report is a snapshot of balances, not a transaction-level audit, so it cannot determine whether users bought BTC, withdrew funds, or moved assets between accounts. Still, the data is mildly supportive for Bitcoin relative to ETH and stablecoins, reinforcing a pattern seen at other exchanges where BTC balances rose as USDT balances fell.
