Binance Partners with BlockShoals for Philippines SEC Sandbox Return

Binance announced on May 26, 2026 a formal partnership with Philippine fintech BlockShoals to re-enter the Philippines via the SEC’s StratBox regulatory sandbox. BlockShoals, approved in November 2025, will serve as the local intermediary during a 24-month pilot starting in H2 2026, allowing Binance to supply technology and compliance support without a direct license. The move follows Binance’s 2024 ban tied to SEC licensing issues and marks a regulatory-driven path to regain access in a high-adoption market, potentially boosting trading volumes and BNB sentiment if the sandbox succeeds.
