Ether price volatility has triggered consecutive multi-million-dollar liquidations on Binance across opposite sides of the market. Most recently, a single Ether perpetual futures short position worth $3.01 million was forcibly closed at a price of $2,537 on October 13 at 05:23 UTC amid upward momentum. This followed a forced liquidation of a $5.95 million Ether long position hours earlier on October 12 at 22:59 UTC, which occurred as Ethereum fell through the $2,500 psychological mark down to $2,471.
