Binance Founder Changpeng Zhao Publicly Mocks Peter Schiff Over Inaccurate Bitcoin Forecasts

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao publicly mocked economist and gold bull Peter Schiff on social media platform X over his long-standing bearish Bitcoin forecasts. Responding to a viral compilation documenting 13 years of Schiff predicting Bitcoin's collapse to zero, Zhao quipped that Schiff would only be proven right after changing his mind. Schiff labeled Bitcoin a passing fad in 2011 and called it a bubble near $20,000 in 2017. Despite Schiff's calls, Bitcoin breached $50,000 in 2021, surpassed $100,000 on December 4, 2024, and traded near $82,500 at the time of the exchange.
