B3 Launches Options on Bitcoin Ether Solana Futures in Brazil

On July 9 2026 Brazil’s B3 exchange rolled out options on Bitcoin Ether and Solana futures marking the latest step in Latin America’s regulated crypto derivatives build-out. The contracts which auto-exercise into futures positions began trading July 6 under tickers BIT ETR and SOL with sessions running 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. São Paulo time and CVM oversight ensuring compliance. The launch follows B3’s Bitcoin futures debut in April 2024 and Ether Solana futures in June 2025. The same day Bitcoin Core v32 revealed a parallel input prevout fetcher that speeds initial node sync after two years of development supporting long-term network decentralization.
