Aurelion and Antalpha Commit $124M Tether Gold to XAUE Yield Protocol

Aurelion allocated 10,000 XAUT (~$48 million) to the new XAUE protocol, which turns tokenized gold into yield-bearing assets, leaving it with 33,318 XAUT total; Antalpha and partners added 16,052 XAUT (~$76 million) to seed the launch. This follows Aurelion's April 24 announcement committing the same 10,000 units based on a $4,719 gold benchmark, marking early institutional adoption of yield on gold tokens via a 1,000:1 conversion with fixed supply. The moves could drive demand for tokenized gold, boosting liquidity and valuations, with XAUT at $4,697 and Aurelion stock at $2.50.
