AuMEGA Metals Provides Exploration Update
AuMEGA Metals announced a fully funded, discovery-focused 2026 exploration program following a recent $30 million financing. The company plans a scalable ~10,000 metre diamond drill campaign concentrated on Cape Ray West/Isle aux Morts Granite (up to 5,000m) and Bunker Hill (up to 5,000m), plus additional work across the Cape Ray Resource Corridor. 2025 surficial geochemistry at Hermitage returned a peak antimony-in-till value of 200 ppm (vs. ~40.9 ppm at Beaver Brook) and gold till peaks of ~57.4 ppb, supporting a polymetallic target and potential partnership interest. Historical drilling returned limited significant intercepts (one hole with up to 2.19 g/t Au over 1m). The update, backed by a strong treasury and institutional support, strengthens the company’s near-term discovery and resource-growth narrative and is likely to be received positively by investors tracking junior gold/critical-metals exposure in Newfoundland.
