AST SpaceMobile Hits $86 on BlueBird Milestones and Space Sector Rally
AST SpaceMobile shares surged to $86.29 on June 29, up as much as 21% from the $66 level, extending a rebound from the May 28 peak of $133.09. The gains followed confirmation that BlueBird satellites 8, 9 and 10 are operating normally after the June 17 SpaceX launch, with BlueBird 37 now in production. Momentum drew additional support from Rocket Lab’s $8 billion acquisition of Iridium Communications, which triggered sympathy buying across space stocks. Despite the rally, analysts flag stretched valuations and ongoing execution risks for the direct-to-cell constellation.
