ARK Invest Tokenizes $1.3 Billion Venture Fund on Ethereum via Securitize

Cathie Wood's ARK Invest has launched a tokenized version of its $1.3 billion ARK Venture Fund on the Ethereum blockchain in partnership with digital securities platform Securitize. The move follows a September 21 amended order from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission authorizing tokenized share classes and potential trading across alternative trading systems. The actively managed closed-end interval fund features a $500 minimum investment and provides exposure to private companies such as SpaceX, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Stripe. Fund liquidity mechanics remain unchanged, restricting redemptions to quarterly repurchase offers capped at roughly 5%.
