Ark Invest Director: AAVE, SOL, ETH Among ‘Overlooked’ Crypto Assets With Strong Fundamentals

Ark Invest crypto research director Lorenzo Valente said several earlier-cycle crypto projects — including AAVE, SOL and ETH — are being overlooked by the market despite strong on-chain fundamentals. In a post on X he flagged a basket (AAVE, SOL, ETH, UNI, AVAX, PENDLE, ENA, MORPHO) that has fallen roughly 70–90% from all-time highs, while fee generation, user activity and layer-1 throughput remain intact. Valente contrasted these with recent speculative winners like Hyperliquid and Near that have captured attention and volume. The remarks signal an institutional view that valuation disconnects may present asymmetric opportunities for investors who focus on fundamentals rather than momentum, though no price targets or buy recommendations were given.
