Apple offers hardware replacements for iPhone 18 Pro Max units facing AT&T network glitch
Apple has announced it will replace certain $1,299 iPhone 18 Pro Max units experiencing persistent cellular connectivity failures on AT&T's network. The issue surfaced two weeks post-launch, causing total cellular signal loss, dropped data, and failed calls and text messages. AT&T initially urged users to update software, and Apple released iOS 27.0.1 and carrier updates to prevent future failures. However, Apple confirmed that software updates cannot restore connectivity on already-affected devices, requiring full physical replacements through Apple Support, AT&T, or retail stores.
