Apple Commits Up to $100 Million to Buy Domestic Titanium From Perryman

Apple has committed up to $100 million over three years to purchase domestic titanium from Pennsylvania-based Perryman Company. Perryman will melt, forge, and roll titanium featuring at least 80% recycled material at its Houston, Pennsylvania plant to supply upcoming devices, including the foldable iPhone Duo. The deal falls under Apple's American Manufacturing Program and wider $600 billion, four-year domestic investment effort. As part of this onshore sourcing strategy, Apple is also expanding its partnership with Delaware-based Qnity Electronics and relying on TSMC's Arizona site for over 100 million chips in 2026.
