Apple CEO John Ternus Overhauls Management Structure and Product Release Cadence

Apple's new CEO John Ternus is restructuring the company to create a leaner organization and accelerate product development. Under the overhaul, Apple is considering ending its traditional spring and fall launch cycles to release products faster and become more experimental. To flatten management, Apple's hardware engineering division has cut several engineering program managers over the past two weeks, affecting roughly six directors. Recent headcount reductions have also hit teams supporting Vision Pro, Siri, and Fitness+, whereas a previous plan to lay off about 5,000 AppleCare customer service workers was put on hold.
