Apple Acquires SigScalr Assets, Hires Staff to Boost Observability

Apple has acquired certain assets of data observability startup SigScalr and hired some of its employees, according to the latest European Commission disclosure posted July 13. The deal, notified by Apple on March 12 under Digital Markets Act rules, centers on SigScalr’s open-source SigLens platform for collecting and analyzing logs, metrics, and traces. SigScalr’s website is now offline and its GitHub repository has been set to read-only, confirming the transition.
