Analysts set Amazon stock 12-month price target

Evercore ISI analyst Mark Mahaney has reiterated a 'Buy' rating on Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) and raised the firm's 12-month price target from $315 to $355, representing a 12.64% increase and implying a 38.53% upside from its recent trading level of $256.26. The optimistic revision comes despite a recent 9% pullback from AMZN's peak near $287.20, supported by findings from Evercore's 14th Annual U.S. Online Retail survey. The survey highlights several key growth drivers, including the additive potential of Agentic AI, with 57% of Alexa AI users making discovery purchases. Additionally, same-day delivery usage rebounded to 49%, with Prime same-day members outspending non-Prime users by 3.1 times, while Perishable Checkout showed strong grocery adoption at 46%. Although Amazon's penetration slipped slightly to 92%, it retains a commanding 34-percentage-point lead over Walmart. Broader Wall Street sentiment remains robust, with 40 surveyed analysts holding an average 12-month target of $334.05, representing an expected 30.36% upside as the company maintains strong retail and cloud leadership.
