Amazon Expands 30-Minute Amazon Now Delivery to Austin, Denver, More US Cities

Amazon on May 13 expanded its Amazon Now 30-minute grocery and essentials delivery beyond Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Philadelphia, and Seattle to Austin, Denver, Houston, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, Orlando, and Phoenix. The rollout, launched May 12 after a UK Prime Air drone trial on May 6-7, uses 5,000-10,000 sq ft micro-fulfillment centers and 24/7 Flex drivers, targeting tens of millions of customers by year-end. Prime members pay $3.99 per order ($1.99 fee under $15), undercutting non-Prime $13.99 rates and rivals like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Walmart.
