Amazon and AWS Partner With Kuehne+Nagel on Long-Term Infrastructure Logistics

Amazon and its cloud unit Amazon Web Services have entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration with Swiss logistics company Kuehne+Nagel to manage end-to-end infrastructure lifecycles. Under the agreement, Kuehne+Nagel will oversee facility construction, equipment deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and expansion projects. The deal grants Amazon a call option on existing Kuehne+Nagel shares, settling in cash or stock and vesting over up to seven years based on commercial milestones. Following the announcement, Amazon shares rose 0.88% to $255.94 in overnight trading, while Kuehne+Nagel shares climbed as much as 5.2%.
