Alphabet Launches €6 Billion Multi-Tranche Euro Bond Sale to Finance AI Infrastructure

Alphabet has launched a €6 billion ($6.7 billion) bond offering across seven tranches in the European market, drawing over €17 billion in investor orders. The issuance features maturities ranging from two to 19 years across one floating-rate and six fixed-rate tranches. Managed by Barclays, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank, the sale marks Alphabet's second euro-denominated debt raise of 2026, following a €9 billion issuance in May. Net proceeds will fund general corporate purposes, including existing debt repayments and accelerating AI and cloud infrastructure investments as full-year capital spending approaches up to $205 billion.
