ADNOC Denies Reports of Third Pipeline Bypassing Strait of Hormuz

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. has officially denied reports that it is weighing plans to construct a third crude export pipeline to Fujairah bypassing the Strait of Hormuz, calling the claims inaccurate and speculative. Reports had suggested the proposed route could transport oil from the UAE's western coast and potentially open capacity to third-party Gulf producers. The UAE currently moves crude to the Gulf of Oman through an existing pipeline offering 1.5 million to 2 million barrels per day in capacity, with a second line scheduled for 2027 designed to roughly double its bypass volume.
