ACINQ Releases Second Eclair Patch in Five Days to Fix Lightning Network Flaws

Bitcoin Lightning Network developer ACINQ has issued its second security patch in five days, releasing Eclair version 0.14.5 to resolve vulnerabilities that could let malicious peer nodes disrupt payment routing or steal funds. The update follows the October 15 release of version 0.14.4, which addressed a cross-origin request forgery flaw in the node's administrative API. ACINQ stated that node operators can deploy version 0.14.5 without closing active payment channels, and confirmed that no documented exploits or financial losses have occurred to date.
